Hello! I'm curt on AO3. Thank you for writing for me, I'm sure I'll enjoy whatever you create!

I like canon divergences, loyalty, fix-it, anything-to-lovers, circumstances that force characters to be together like fake dating or trapped in a cabin, codependency, X worshipping Y and thinking they can do no wrong, hurt/comfort, transplanting the events of canon into a different decade,, unequal power dynamics and general power issues, dubcon, age or emotional IQ differences, smut, falling into dom/sub without meaning to, and identity porn. I ship all the characters I requested.

I'd don't want crossdressing or femininity kink, gay panic or excessive homophobia, 2nd or 1st POV.

A Place To Call Home (TV)
William, James Bligh

  • Anything about William and James' life on the Riviera living in bliss.
  • A pre-series canon divergence akin to Maurice (1987) where James doesn't agree to marry Oliva and instead he and William forsake society to be together. What would their lives have been like?
  • What if William came to live with James in Australia rather than James going to live with him?
  • James and William's relationship prior to the engagement to Olivia.
  • Although James is rich, William and Olivia's family has always been implied to be on a higher level and England > Australia in terms of high society clout. Anything dealing with their class differences.
  • A Place to Call Home but make it The Talented Mr Ripley (1999) or Downton Abbey (TV).

Breaking Fast (2020)
Kal-El, Mo

  • I would love it if Kal really was Superman or at least Kryptonian!
  • Mo learning to support Kal like Kal always supports him.
  • More cooking and domestic bliss.
  • What happens next?
  • The two of them celebrating Eid or Al-Hijra.

The D Train (2015)
Dan Landsman, Oliver Lawless

  • I would love it if they ended up together and Oliver wanted the whole world to know. Would Dan enjoy the haters or would be feel inadequate knowing the whole world cannot believe Oliver Lawless ended up with someone like him?
  • A role reversal where Dan ended up like a Jack Black celebrity and Oliver has been unknowingly pining after him all this time.
  • They keep meeting up to have sex without meaning to (or so they say.)
  • What would have happened to their lives if they had gotten together in high school?

Firebird (2021)
Roman, Sergey

If you want to write post-canon fic where Roman doesn't survive, I'm okay with Sergey/Ilya endgame.

  • More of their time together in Sochi.
  • What if they had stolen the training plain to escape to Sweden?
  • Sergey gets himself posted in Moscow to be with Roman rather than get married.
  • It breaks my heart that their relationship happened in the worst possible era to ever have any hope of flying under the radar. What would things have looked like if they met during WWI or now?
  • What if they met when Sergey was an established actor? Would Roman still have gotten married if he didn't need to have the heat on him? Would things have turned out different if Roman didn't have the baggage of family?
  • It's obvious that Ilya is in love with Sergey. Are they in love? Dating? What would Roman do if Sergey really did love someone else.
  • Roman faked his death in order to get away from the military and his family. How does Sergey feel with Roman shows back up in his life?
  • An older Sergey meets a young  man who looks just like Roman. He tries to stay away despite being fascinated. The Roman-lookalike doesn't have the same discretion.

The Deuce (TV 2017)
Paul Hendrickson, Todd Lang

  • Paul's steadfast belief in Todd was my favorite thing. I love how he wasn't jealous either. I would love anything about Paul getting off on Todd's porn or being aroused while watching him act in general.
  • What would have happened if they met today? Would Todd be a camboy who transitioned into the mainstream? Would his talent have allowed him to go straight into indie prestige? Would would Paul be doing, and how would they meet?
  • How Paul and Todd originally met.
  • All they times they almost-dated or got together when either one was between boyfriends.
  • Todd doesn't get sick.

The Other Two (TV)
Cary Dubek, Dean Brennan, Jess, Lance Arroyo

Although I requested all four, I am okay with you focusing on two of them in any combination and the other ones not showing up. I ship them all.

  • Dean isn't used to being rejected. He starts taking a string of gay roles as an excuse to keep going after Cary.
  • Lance liked Jess and, nice guy that he is, makes sure that the two of them stay in contact despite Jess and Cary's breakup.
  • Cary meets Jess after he's had a chance to sow his wild oats rather than prior.
  • What if Lance had been Cary's boyfriend rather than Brooke's?
  • Dean's still salty after Cary dumping him (dumping him!) and decides to go after Jess as revenge. He didn't expect for Jess to finally be the one that makes him catch feelings.
  • Lance's newfound celebrity brings him into Dean's orbit. It turns out that while Dean can bait gay men without feeling anything, Lance's brand of anti-toxic masculinity has him feeling things.

Hello! I'm curt on AO3. This is my first Yuletide after lurking for ages and hopefully you'll like writing for me, because I'm sure I'll like whatever you come up with.

I like canon divergences, loyalty, underage, fix-it, anything-to-lovers, circumstances that force characters to be together like fake dating or trapped in a cabin, codependency, X worshipping Y and thinking they can do no wrong, spontaneous telepathy, hurt/comfort, unequal power dynamics and general power issues, dubcon, age or emotional IQ differences, smut, falling into dom/sub without meaning to, and identity porn. I ship all the characters I requested.

I'd rather not read crossdressing kink, gay panic or excessive homophobia, 2nd or 1st POV.

Talented Mr Ripley (1999)
Peter Smith-Kingsley, Tom Ripley

  • I'd love anything that actually has them dating and having a good time. They were together longer than we were shown on screen and I'd like to see their daily life. Peter and Tom shopping for groceries, fucking on the balcony, or canoodling at the piano.
  • Peter showing Tom all the non-braggy ways to be well-off
  • Tom confesses his sins to Peter instead of murdering him. Peter's so in love with him that he becomes sucked into being Tom's accomplice.
  • Tom runs into Peter before he meets Dicky and Marge. Everything goes wrong for Tom when he realizes Dicky will never love him. Does having Peter return his love keep him on the right side of the law or does he drag Peter down with him into a life of confidence crimes?
  • "By the way, officially there are no Italian homosexuals. Makes Michelangelo and Leonardo very inconvenient." Peter = Michelangelo the genius who gets dragged here and there. Tom = Leonardo the genius who never finishes what he starts and comes up with way too many creepy inventions not to be a little bit sketchy.

Pilgrimage (2017)
Brother Diarmuid, The Mute

I'm okay with their age difference but if that bothers you, I don't mind Diarmuid being aged up.

  • Anything about the Mute worshipping Diarmuid or viewing him as his own personal savior.
  • Fix-it so the Mute survives. How do he and Diarmuid make their way in the world?
  • Their daily lives and any domesticity between them during happier times
  • Holding and cuddling Diarmuid came very natural to the Mute. Why?
  • What if Diarmuid washed up where the Mute was from and not the other way around?
  • The Mute does so many dangerous things just so Diarmuid doesn't have to. Are there any times where Diarmuid had to take care of the Mute as a result?
  • What if the Mute spoke whenever he and Diarmuid are alone? What kind of things does he say?
  • Diarmuid doesn't see anything strange about the Mute being so loyal to him, or he so loyal to the Mute. How did they come to be this way.
  • Diarmuid and the Mute seem almost separate from the rest of the monks. Why are they so accepting of an unknown man being with such a young boy? Was it something they always kept their noses out of or did the Mute bully them into having privacy?

The Boys in the Band - Crowley (Broadway 2018)*
Hank, Larry

* It's okay with me if you need to base it on the film or original play. I know not everyone got a chance to see the revival and even if you did, it could be hard to remember exactly what happened, so blending the two versions won't bother me.

  • Their get together story.
  • How things play out after the phone call. Do you think its more likely that Larry stops feeling the need to be with other men once he has Hank's real approval or that Hank starts being with other men too?
  • We always only get to see them at the low point of their relationship and I would like to know how they are when things are at their best.
  • Domestic moments in their apartment
  • Snapshots of their lives as the years go by. I could see them breaking up for a while but inevitably coming back together. Maybe Harold's birthday party always gives them an excuse to look one another up?
  • Larry claims that he would be happy if Hank actually was sleeping around, but what if that wasn't the case?
  • Now that we've seen how well the play works in modern times, I realized I would be really into seeing it in other time periods. What would Hank and Larry's relationship be like during World War II, Colonial America, Medieval times, or the Victorian period?

Dunkirk (2017)
Peter Dawson, Collins

  • Collins finds out that his family died in one of the bombings. The Dawsons invite him to live with them and treat him like their own son. Peter doesn't see him as a brother.
  • Any time Collins gets leave, he goes to Peter.
  • After the war, Peter and Collins dealing with losing their best friends (boyfriends?) and finding solace in one another.
  • Peter was born earlier and was able to join up for the war. It's there he meets Collins.
  • (In a world where bonds aren't common/a think) the stress and loneliness that Collins and Peter are experiencing during the moment they meet makes a spontaneous bond imprint between them. They can speak with just their minds, which isn't too bad, but things really come to a head when they try to split up back in England and find they become physically ill when more than a few feet away from eachother.

Iceman (2017 Comics)
Bobby Drake, Daken Akihiro

  • Trapped together when a mission goes wrong.
  • Magic or some mutant makes it so they can't be more than a few feet away from one another without dying.
  • Casual fucking turns into real feelings. It's time for them to come out.
  • Fake marriage for a mission that ends really quickly and they keep coming up with reasons not to file for divorce.
  • Daken tries to go legit and joins the X-Men. Bobby is suspicious and volunteers to be his partner.
  • Bobby sets up a date with Daken on grinder without realizing its Daken. Daken has a great body, so Bobby goes with it.
  • Crazy multiverse space travel drops them in a universe where they're together. They have to keep up the ruse.
  • Daken flirts with Young Bobby to make Bobby jealous.
  • Daken casually offers to fuck Bobby to help him relieve some stress. He doesn't expect Bobby to go with it and he really doesn't expect it to turn into them enjoying eachothers company even when they aren't fucking.

History Boys - Bennett
Donald Scripps, Tom Irwin

  • The French lesson isn't the first time Irwin and Scripps have met.
  • Scripps has no qualms about challenging Irwin's contrarian outlook on history. Irwin likes that quite a bit.
  • Scripps asks Irwin out before Dakin gets the chance.
  • Scripps is the teacher brought in to help the boys try for Oxford and Cambridge. Irwin is the little sod who keeps writing outrageously offensive essays that drive him up the wall.
  • The new term starts and there's something about Irwin. Puberty has come and done well by him, so well that Dakin has started to hover about him. Irwin's only got eyes for Scripps. Scripps tries to tell himself that he's only got eyes for Jesus, but it gets harder by the day.
  • Scripps gets roped into going door to door to spread the Good Word. Most people slam it in his face, but Irwin debates him. Scripps keeps going back to his house because it's just so much fun.
  • Scripps's parents offer to billet Irwin while he settles into town. At first Irwin tries to keep a distance between him and Scripps but one thing leads to another and they're having lunch together at school and Scripps is helping Irwin grade papers.
  • Irwin and Scripps write notes to one another Scripp's essays.
  • Irwin loves how Scripps can recite endless poetry to him.
  • Scripps comes home for break and runs into Irwin. Dakin may have given up on sucking Irwin off in return for their scholarships, but Scripps hasn't.
  • Dakin was right, Scripps is jealous.
  • Irwin thinks that Scripps is in love with Posner and feels bad for him, as Posner only has eyes for Dakin. He starts to invite Scripps on his travels to historical sites in the region and quickly realizes "bad" isn't what he feels for Scripps.
  • The reason Scripps finds Dakin's flirting with Irwin so hilarious is because Irwin's with him.
